TOPIC: Charitable Gift Planning for Baby Boomers
SUMMARY: The baby boomer generation is now the second largest demographic group in the U.S., but a recent study found that baby boomers make 40% of all charitable contributions. This presentation will review the many charitable giving options, including lifetime gifts, life income gifts, trusts and estates and beneficiary designations that can help baby boomers accomplish their personal financial and estate goals while supporting their favorite charitable organizations.

And they may be looking to you for guidance. Uncover the mystery behind gifts of complex assets in this session. Johni Hays, J.D. will discuss an array of complex assets, outlining the various tax advantages-and disadvantages-for the donor, and highlight any issues they may bring to your organization. You'll learn a methodology to determine when a gift of each type makes sense for the donor and for your organization.
